My Uncle is coming down from Boston and we're heading up to Cleveland to visit the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame. He said he heard about a famous restaurant in Cleveland to eat at, and I'm not really sure what that would be. Anyone have any ideas of what he may of heard? Either way, what would be some other places to eat in Cleveland that would make my uncle feel like he's in Cleveland and not just at some other restaurant that they have in Boston.

Thanks!

If you're going to the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame, then a visit to Alice Cooper's Cooperstown restaurant seems appropriate. It is located at 2217 East 9th St, just behind Progressive Field and Quicken Loans Arena.

An awesome place to eat at is Don's Lighthouse great atmosphere and also Ferris' Steak house The best place to get a steak The way you like it and It Looks Very upscale yet the prices are good.

Also It's in Cleveland it's Called Hecks it's a very small quaint little place that serves excellent food and in the back of the restaurant it's like eating in a garden with beautifull flowers everywhere it's a lovely place.

Slymans is pretty famous place for corn beef sandwiches. But maybe your Uncle is speaking about Lola Bistro I believe you need a reservation for that.

My personal favorite restaurant is actually in Cleveland Heights on Coventry its called Tommy's maybe you could take him there?

Go on iTunes and buy the Cleveland episode of Anthony Bourdain's TV show called "No Reservations". Not the best episode by far, but some of those places looked good.

Shooters. Its a great restaurant down in the flats. It's right on the water and you can see the bridge go up and down to let boats out onto the lake. It has very good food and since the flats are coming back, the sights are getting better.

He's probably thinking of Lolita's in Tremont and Lola on East 4th...the chef, Michael Symon, was on that one Food Network show, I think it was Iron Chef. Either way, if you are planning on taking him to Lola or Lolita, you would want to make a reservation.
